Jeanne Calhoun (1973-1992)

Southwest Missouri State Women's Hall of Fame member Jeanne Calhoun started the Lady Falcons Basketball Program in 1973. A pioneer in women's athletics in Southwest Missouri, Coach Calhoun complied a 329-149 (.68%) during her 19-year tenure. The Mountain Grove, MO product was a member of the SMSU field hockey and softball teams pior to graduating in 1968. In 1974, the Springfield R-12 School District began a girls athletic program, which found Coach Calhoun leading the basketball and volleyball programs at Glendale from 1974 through 1979. "It's been a challenge and very rewarding to see the girls program improve," Calhoun said. One fond memory she shared involves the girls team not being able to practice the day after a game because it was believed the girls were not physiologically capable of handling it. After 30 years of continuous service to the Glendale community, Coach Calhoun retired in May of 1999.
Nyla Milleson (1992-1999)

Nyla Milleson, a graduate of Kansas State University, came to Glendale in the spring of 1992 after several successful seasons as head coach at Junction City, Kansas. During her seven seasons at Glendale, her teams posted six consecutive 20-win campaigns, amassed four Ozark Conference Championships, three District titles, and two trips to the 4A Final Four. Her crowning achievement came in 1996 when the Lady Falcons captured the 4A State Championship with a 71-66 victory over Jackson. Coach Milleson was named the Missouri Basketball Sportswriters & Sportscasters 4A 'Coach of the Year'. Under Milleson, the Lady Falcons won the inaugural Bass Pro Lady Classic (94-95) and won over .80% of their games (157-39). Nyla left Glendale during the summer of 1999 to start the Drury University Lady Panther Basketball Program. They reached the NCAA Div. II National Championship game by her fourth season. Currently, Nyla is the head coach at NCAA Div. I George Mason University.
Tina Robbins (1999-2005)

Tina Robbins was named the third Lady Falcon head coach in the summer of 1999. Her teams won back-to-back undefeated Ozark Conference Championships in 2000 & 2001. A Joplin, MO native, Robbins' name is synonymous with girls basketball in southwest Missouri. Pior to graduating from Joplin High in 1990, Robbins led the Lady Eagles to back-to-back 4A State Championship game appearances. She continued her basketball career at Missouri State University where the Lady Bears won four Conference Championships and made the NCAA Tournament four consecutive times. The Lady Bears reached the NCAA Div. I Final Four in 1992 and the Sweet 16 in 1993. They also led the nation in attendance for the 1993-94 season. Robbins was named All-Missouri Valley Conference and Honorable Mention Kodak All-American in 1994. Coach Robbins started her coaching career at Joplin High from 1995-1999. Currently, Coach Robbins is the head coach at Crowder Community College in Neosho.
Renee Temple (2005-2017)

Renee Temple is a product of Glendale High School and an alumnus of the girls basketball program. The Lady Falcons had an undefeated regular season and finished 26-1 during Coach Temple's junior season. Her senior year, they advanced to the 4A State Championship game and finished 26-5 overall. Renee still holds the record for most assists in a game, season, and career at Glendale. She continued her playing career at Missouri State University as a Lady Bear. After graduation, Coach Temple joined the staff at Glendale under her high school mentor Jeanne Calboun. She continued as an assistant at Glendale through the Nyla Milleson era. Finally, she joined Shelly Jones' staff at Parkview High School. During her time at the high school level, she was also a teacher and coach at Pershing Middle School. Renee Temple was named the fourth Glendale head coach in the spring of 2005.
Trish Marsh (2017-2021)

Trish Marsh returned to Glendale High School in 2017 after serving as an assistant coach in the mid-1990s for head coach Nyla Milleson. Coach Marsh is a native of Marshfield, MO. and helped the Lady Jays to an undefeated (32-0) 3A state championship run as a senior in 1987-88. At Missouri S&T in Rolla, she set many three-point records (led the nation in three-point percentage as a freshman) and still ranks as the sixth all-time leading scorer in that program's history with 1,125 points. She was inducted into the Missouri S&T Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011. As a college assistant coach, she helped Drury University to a NCAA Div. II National Runner-Up finish 2004 (Drury had a 95-7 record between 2003-2006) and Missouri State Lady Bears to Missouri Valley Conference regular season titles and WNIT appearances. In addition to her run as an assistant at Glendale in the 90's, Trish coached at Aurora, Parkview, Central and Study at the K-12 level. Coach Marsh courageously battled and defeated breast cancer!
